Currently there is a trend amongst wealthy auto enthusiasts to convert classic collector automobiles to convert to electrical power.   Such vehicles as the Jaguar XKE and others are currently getting the sustainable makeover.  This is of great concern to many aficionados as these modifications can never be undone.

There are some iconic vehicles that are so rare that even finding one to convert is a nearly impossible task.  Consider the Lamborghini Miura for example.  With only 764 built in total and auction prices exceeding $1.5 million the notion of butchering an original does not appeal to many.

With the 50th anniversary now upon us we have the chance to make the dream a reality to hundreds of enthusiasts.   We can do this buy building a replica based on a Tesla S using body panels made of carbon composite materials in Japan.

The Lamborghini Miura is one of the most iconic vehicles ever created.     Here’s what Car & Driver had to say about it back in the day.
